Now, as I was saying...
I've come to realize that this opportunity, for which over 8,000 people feel they are tailor-made for, goes well beyond Hamilton Island. I mean, just look at the talent and creativity and various backgrounds and professions that people have - people are networking and collaborating and putting their minds together, and it's fascinating to imagine that all the ideas being tossed around could develop into something completely different, and equally successful. I wouldn't be surprised if many people get jobs, features, shows, assignments, or at least some contract work, out of this whole process. In fact, I'm hoping that very much for myself. I'd consider this whole process a huge success and worth every moment of investment even if I don't land the Island Caretaker job, don't make the shortlist, but still walk away with more opportunity and inspiration than I had coming in. So in my mind, I'm already a winner. I'm just waiting for some brilliant mind with more time than I have to create the "Island Reef Rejects Job Board" portal! Oh, and please feel free to message me for openings, collaboration, tele-commuting assignments, stock photography, book deals, print modeling, travel show pitches....did I say travel show? Wow, I just gave myself shivers...
